Camp Mujigae

A Korean Culture Camp in Albany, New York

Volunteers Needed!!!

Camp Mujigae is entirely run by thoughtful and dedicated volunteers in varying levels of time commitment.

The Camp Committee works throughout the year.  If you'd like to help plan Camp's success each year, please contact us at [email protected] or send a FB message with your contact information if you are interested!

In addition, there is a need for volunteers while Camp is being held.   Listed below are some examples of areas that need volunteers.  We will do our best to put you in an area that you are interested in.  It is also important that once we confirm a time and place that you can volunteer that you follow through with that commitment. We appreciate everyone's help.  Thank you in advanced for offering your valuable time.

Camp set-up: Assist committee with camp set up.  This includes getting supplies out of storage and set up for family day and registration.
Parent Leaders:  Discovery, Explorer and all Senior camps need volunteers to support the counselors and group coordinators throughout the camp day.  Parents go with the group to all activities and will supervise the group if the counselor goes on a break or to a meal.  Please note that the parents will not be placed with their own child's color group.
Food Services: Parsons' kitchen staff and food coordinator will need help with snack/meal preparation, service, and clean up
Photography volunteers: Assisting with the group and candid photos, getting the group photos developed and distributing photos to groups.
Break-down and Clean up: Help break down and put supplies back into storage.  Clean up the dorm rooms and move mattress back to the rooms.  This will take place during the afternoon of Family Day.

These are some examples of positions. Please let us know if there are other ways you can help out that are not listed.  Thank you!
